Day 029:Gen 48-50

                            Fav verse:

‘But Joseph replied “Don’t be afraid of me. Am I God that I can punish you”’- 50:19

                            Reflection:

Hurt, especially from family, can be a hard thing to forgive but it is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Releasing those bondages to that emotion means you just have room for better. Leave bitterness and revenge in your fathers hand. But do remember how many times God has forgiven your sins and mistakes, are other people not as worthy – only God truly knows.

Day 030: Exo 1-3

                           Fav verse:

‘He looked down on the people of Israel and knew it was time to act.’- 2:25

                          Reflection:

Our father is the God of holiness. His holy presence is among us, he hears our cries as he did Israelites and he will act when he knows the time is right. He may look down to gaze upon us but he has always seen us as deserving enough to be saved. Pray to him and prepare to hear him, God knows you are worth having a relationship with.

Day 031: Exo 4-6

                             Fav verse:

‘Now go! I will be with you as your speak, and I will instruct you on what to say’ 4:12

                             Reflection:

Some of us may be called to do things we think we are not good at. But know God is mighty and nothing is above him or his power, if you feel like you don’t have the tools for the job then know God does. Call to the Holy Spirit and ask for him to be with you, ask God for help. He will not have you do a job you cannot succeed in.

Day 032: Exo 7-9

                          Fav verse:

‘Moses was eighty years old, and Aaron was eighty-three when they made their demands to the Pharaoh’-7:6

                          Reflection:

Comparing your path to the walk of someone else is something we will all experience. Moses was trusted and loved by God, he completed some of the most well known miracles and he did it when he was an old man. When we think we are late in life and all is at an end, God may well just be beginning to show you your higher purpose.

Day 033: Exo 10-12

                          Fav verse:

‘During all that time the people could not see each other, and no one moved. But there was light as usual where the people of Israel lived.’-10:23

                           Reflection:

God will light up your life in many ways, including internally. When you truly trust and have faith that nothing can interrupt what God has planned for you, your spirit will shine unlike others and you can find beauty in even the gloomiest of days. It’s easy to think of all the life blessings God will give but his best blessing will always happen within you.

Day 034: Exo 13-15

                             Fav verse:

‘On the seventh day you must explain to your children, “I am celebrating what the LORD did for me when I left Egypt”.’-13:8

                             Reflection:

Blessings from God are wonderful to receive but how many times have you shared that blessing with others. There is a difference between showing off and sharing. God wants us to share what he has done for us so other people can know and experience God’s glory. As you would give compliments to a chef, give the same energy to God.

Day 035: Exo 16-18

                             Fav verse:

‘You’re going to wear yourself out- and the people too. This job is too much of a heavy burden for you to handle all by yourself.-18:18

                              Reflection:

Even Moses in all his greatness needed help whether from those around him or God, that’s why it’s important to make sure you have a great community around you. They may be there because God knows you best and realised you will need a little help. Ask God to give you friends of faith who can help you further your walk with Christ.
